About me

Mt. Timp Kite FlyingI degrees in International Relations and in International Communications. Over the past fifteen years, I have lived in Madagascar, Alaska, Paris, Washington D.C., in South Korea, and England for religious service, work, studies, an internship, and research. I love to travel. Every place I’ve been to, whether to visit, work, or study, has helped me gain new perspectives on the world as I push myself beyond my comfort zone culturally and vocationally.

Recently, I have been teaching English as a second language in South Korea. Along with my Bachelors and Masters degrees, I have worked for the U.S. Department of State in international religious freedom, for my church as a volunteer representative internationally, and for a non-profit consulting group researching micro-enterprise education materials. I have studied in Paris and worked on original research in Madagascar resulting in multiple articles. Having enhanced my education to the fullest with a variety of off-campus experiences and international travel, I look forward to finding rewarding opportunities where I can make a difference both locally and internationally.

I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.
